A letter writer asked, why not a county vote on the Santa Cruz Downtown Library? Some answers.


Measure S allocates money for each library separately. Santa Cruz city voters don't get a say on how Capitola library money is spent.


The City of Santa Cruz owns the land of both the Downtown Library and Lot 4, site of the Downtown Farmers Market. So how to use that land is a city decision....
